Access Information on Reserve
Many academic libraries offer their patrons reserve materials. If you see the "Reserves" button on the
navigation bar in iBistro, you will be able to search materials on reserve.
Reserves accesses your library's reserve browse list, which contains active reserve materials. A list
of records can be browsed based on the course or instructor for which the materials are on reserve. In
some cases, in addition to managing hard copy reserves, iBistro gives students immediate online access
to electronic reserves.
- Select Reserves from the navigation bar.
- In the Search For field, type in the instructor name, course ID, or course name by which reserved
materials are being held. Refer to Searching Tips for more information on
searching in iBistro.
- If available, use the Desk field pull-down menu to specify the reserves desk to search under, or choose ANY
to search under all reserves desks.
